Whalar launched in 2016 after co-founders Neil Waller and James Street won an entrepreneurship contest and attended a business summit on Necker Island. They named the company Whalar because a whale’s call can be heard by whales 10,000 miles away, and they believe creators’ voices can travel just as far.
While Whalar started as an influencer marketing agency, we have augmented our offerings for creators, platforms, brands, and talent agencies. The company has made waves in this rapidly growing industry: expanding to the U.S., launching a talent arm, and winning major accolades. Now, Whalar Group has six companies under its umbrella, all centered on creators.
